Ditch maintenance in Suffolk
This is the content for Layout Div Tag "clear"

Ditch maintenance is essential to keep drainage schemes working efficiently and outfalls clear, particularly if mole draining is required.

Often, when ditching, you can find evidence of old drainage systems which have been lost over the years. These can sometimes be successfully reinstated if properly cleaned out, with new outfall pipes fitted, and go on to give many more years of service.

A well maintained, low lying ditch – even if the field is not very well under drained – will draw water and help keep headland drier.
